The 25 years old Romanian artist Vlad Olariuwho lives in Cluj, Romania, and is mainly known for his autoclaved cellular concrete works (ACC is known for being one of the cheapest and most reliable construction materials) representing iconic images of the former communist bloc society whose distinctive feature was the will and power to construct soviet apartment buildings for all the population of Eastern Europe.

At Preview Berlin Vlad Olariu was represented by Point contemporary art gallery from Bucharest and is now presenting some of his most recent works at Babusch.
